The Talent Attraction team partner with colleagues across the University to attract and secure exceptional, diverse talent locally, nationally and globally. Our goal is to make recruitment efficient, inclusive and impactful, supporting approaches that strengthen research, education and innovation.
We provide expert guidance to plan effective campaigns, reach the right audiences, ensure fair and inclusive processes, and attract the strongest candidates, whether recruiting for a single role or building a team.

Recruitment strategy and campaign planning - helping you define the role, shape the attraction strategy and plan an effective recruitment campaign.
Advertising and employer brand positioning - advising on where and how to advertise roles to reach the right audiences and strengthen the University’s employer brand.
Proactive talent sourcing - identifying and engaging potential candidates for specialist, senior or hard-to-fill roles.
Assessment and selection design - supporting hiring managers to use effective and fair interview and selection methods.
Inclusive recruitment guidance - ensuring recruitment approaches align with the University’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Agency engagement and management - advising when external search support may be appropriate and helping ensure best value.
