Connect is coming to People

Introducing People Services, Recruitment Services, Reward and Benefits, and Pensions to Connect
From Monday, 2 February 2026, all People Services, Recruitment Services, Reward and Benefits, and Pensions enquiries will be managed through the HR module on the Connect Platform.
“Workload and Resources” was a key theme from our Your Voice Matters survey, with only 61% of colleagues feeling they have the information, equipment, technology, and support needed to do their job. Connect helps address these resource issues, enabling colleagues to work more efficiently and effectively.
A successful pilot launched in October 2025 across People, DSE, SALC and IT Services, with colleagues describing the portal as easy to navigate and helpful for tracking queries and accessing knowledge articles.

What you need to do as Manager
As we approach our launch, our goal is to ensure you feel informed, confident, and excited about using Connect for People. To help you get ready:
- Consider how you work – how do you currently engage with the People Services, Recruitment Services, Pensions, and Reward and Benefits teams? Consider how that may change as we introduce Connect for People-related services.
- Raise awareness - Make your teams aware that Connect is launching in the People Directorate.
Support and resources
- We have created a PowerPoint pack you can share with your team in your next session - Connect for People Slides January 2026.
- You can also visit our SharePoint hub – to access training materials, FAQs, and step-by-step video guides available to all colleagues, making it easier to find the support you need.
