Students make an impact through Coursework for Change
21 Sep 2026
As part of the Social Responsibility team’s ‘Coursework for Change’ campaign highlighting the work taking place across the University aligned with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), some of our students have shared examples of their work which look to make a positive impact in addressing real-world sustainability issues.
Across our University, many student assignments tackle the 21st century relating to UN SDGs. The Coursework for Change campaign recognises the thought, time and dedication behind these projects, the difference they are making in tackling sustainability challenges, and encouraging conversation around the SDGs.
Watch videos below from four Humanities students from talking through their projects:
- Zoe Phillis, BA Geography
- Roman Kireev, BA Politics and Modern History
- Jasmayne Saunders, MSc Global Development: Public Policy and Management
- Tanya Lewis, MA Education for a Sustainable Environment
