The Student Engagement and Attendance System (SEAtS) allows teaching colleagues to log their student’s attendance at scheduled on-campus teaching activities.

Live codes

Please prioritise the sharing of live codes in SEAtS wherever possible, to improve attendance accuracy. 'You will have to select 'live code' from the drop down, after you have clicked on the QR icon, to get the live code.' Live codes refresh every 30 seconds and reduce the chance of students sharing codes with those not attending.

Lunch and Learn sessions

You can sign up to one of several Teams sessions to refresh yourself on using SEAtS. Visit the SEAtS SharePoint site, select your chosen date and ‘add to my calendar’.

Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs)

Academics with access should share codes with new GTAs who teach, whenever this is required. Once a GTA is fully onboarded and has a staff email address they can complete this form to get their own access.

Support & Resources

Please support new colleagues who are joining the University and may be unfamiliar with SEAtS. You can also encourage them to attend a Lunch and Learn session.
