What is Talent Acquisition?

The Talent Acquisition team can work with you to identify your staff recruitment and resourcing needs. We can help you identify resource that is required, sourcing the best talent for your roles or supporting with advice on assessment and selection methods and best practice.

How can we help?

Reach out and speak to Talent Acquisition if you are struggling to recruit to a role within your department or team.
You can also talk to us about larger campaigns that involve multiple roles. We can help by:

• Bespoke advertising advice about where to advertise and get you the best rates
• Support with planning and using the right interview and selection methods
• Writing or re-writing advertisements to help you attract the right candidates
• Inclusive recruitment advice and support
• Direct sourcing/ headhunting for your role to match the ideal candidates to your vacancy
• Working with agencies, how and when to use them and ensure we get you the best rates

Working with Agencies to recruit Permanent and Temporary employees

The University has a Preferred Supplier List of recruitment agencies with whom we have contracted terms and rates. The list includes different agencies depending on the type of role you would like to recruit in order to ensure that the specialist nature of a role can be best sourced.

If you would like more information about working with agencies, please see below for more information:

Permanent recruitment agencies 

These are the only agents that can be contracted with directly.  Should you wish to engage an agency not on the list, you will need exceptional approval through Talent Acquisition and Procurement.  Please ensure to speak to one of the Talent Acquisition Team before engaging with any Agency not on the list.
