Research Support Association (RSA) Access

Research employees can request extended access to emails and e-resources after their contract comes to an end for research roles linked to finite funding.

The extension is allocated in blocks of six weeks and can be extended to a maximum of 12 months from the leaving date.

Details are provided to eligible employees before they leave the University and this can be requested before your end date by contacting the People Services team in the Connect Portal People Services - General Request Form - Connect.

If your contract has already come to an end and you have left the University you can email your faculty People Services team, contact details here.

You are only eligible for this if you reach the end of your contract, if you leave the University before your contract ends then you will not be eligible for RSA extended access.
