Colleagues must complete the below required on-demand and self-paced training before taking part in any recruitment panel or promotion committee. Each course must be completed every two years.
New Jobtrain users must complete this essential training and provide evidence of completing their mandatory Data Protection and Cyber Security training before being set up with a Jobtrain account
Recommended skills-focused development workshop for colleagues involved in recruitment
Alongside the mandatory training, we offer a recommended skills-focused development development opportunity for colleagues involved in recruitment: Focus On Recruitment.
- People Leader: Focus On Recruitment (workshop)
This workshop is designed to build confidence and practical skills in applying best-practice recruitment approaches, including:
- Effective shortlisting techniques
- Designing assessments
- Setting up and running interviews
- Practising interview techniques and approaches in a safe, supported environment
While optional, we strongly recommend this course for colleagues who are newer to recruitment, or those who would benefit from a more practice-based, skills-focused session to complement the mandatory digital learning.
Focus On Recruitment does not need to be refreshed.
