Connect is coming to People this October

This autumn, we’re launching Connect within the People Directorate.
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to Service Excellence and Continuous Improvement — streamlining key People services through the Connect platform to improve delivery and enhance the user experience.
What you need to know
From Monday, 13 October, all enquiries related to People Services, Recruitment, Pensions, and Reward and Benefits will be managed through the HR module on the Connect platform. You and your teams will submit requests and track progress directly in Connect, making it easier to stay informed and get support. Manager approvals will continue outside of Connect for now.
Training and Support Resources
To help colleagues across the organisation get ready for the upcoming launch, we’re rolling out a range of support and training resources. People Services colleagues and Subject Matter Experts are receiving dedicated training sessions to ensure a smooth handover, while quick-reference user guides will be available for all staff. An FAQ page will also provide key information about the launch, helping everyone stay informed and confident as we transition to the new platform.
