The lectureship is the most prestigious BSA prize and is awarded by the Trustees to a full member of the Society who is judged to have made an outstanding and sustained academic contribution to audiology or related disciplines.

Kevin Munro, Director (research) of the Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness (ManCAD) and Ewing Professor of Audiology said:

“Our warmest congratulations to Wendy. The first Thomas Simm Littler lecture was given by our very own Sir Alexander Ewing in 1969, with the most recent lecture, delivered by Dave Moore, another ManCAD colleague. It is great to see Manchester continue to influence and be appreciated in this arena.”
