Judy and Colin awarded National Teaching Fellowships

Faculty colleagues Judy Williams and Colin Lumsden have been awarded prestigious National Teaching Fellowships (NTF) by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in recognition of their contribution to the development and enhancement of teaching, learning and the overall student experience, both in Manchester and nationally.

Professor Williams is our Deputy Associate Dean for Staff Development and founding Director of the Centre for Academic and Researcher Development. Dr Lumsden is a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Paediatrician, based in the Division of Medical Education.

Just 55 academics from across the entire UK higher education sector were recognised this year; so the award of the two Fellowships is a tremendous accolade. Many congratulations to Colin and Judy on their achievements!
