Twin Peaks - Fundraiser event for Prevent Breast Cancer charity

Prevent Breast Cancer Logo

As part of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Staff Wellbeing Team in partnership with Manchester Museum and Prevent Breast Cancer proudly presents Mandy Tootill - Twin Peaks.

Mandy was nominated for Best Comedy Manchester Fringe and Best Comedy Performer Buxton Fringe 2018 and has just got back from Edinburgh Fringe where people compared her to Victoria Wood!

Mandy’s show Twin Peaks is an honest and fearless account of being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 30. How does Mandy cope when faced with her own mortality? In the only way an idiot can; with sheer determination and wit.....after all laughter is the breast medicine. Mandy breaks down those barriers in her own endearing way to give the audience a better understanding of the person behind the cancer.

Mandy started her comedy career in 2014 and she has been making people spit their drinks out with laughter ever since. Those from the University of Manchester might recognise her face from Media Services!

Book your tickets

The show will take place on Friday 25th October at 7.30pm and 100% of all the ticket sales will go to Prevent Breast Cancer. Tickets cost £12 and are available via this Eventbrite link.
