Physical and social wellbeing
Physical and Social Wellbeing at Work
Engaging in physical wellbeing at work, such as moving more during the day, can boost energy, concentration and support your wellbeing. Taking time to build social connections with colleagues can strengthen morale, collaboration and a sense of belonging.
Having opportunities to move more and connect with others can help to reduce feelings of stress, improve motivation and help you feel more engaged in your day-to-day work.
Small changes can make a big difference - whether that’s joining a fitness class or going for a walk during your lunch break to build movement into your week, taking part in our book club for a shared break from work, joining the wellbeing choir or getting involved through staff networks to meet people across the University.
