Free Basic Life Support training sessions

The sessions are running on Wednesday, 7 February and Wednesday, 6 March from 1pm until 3pm

The Heart Heroes team are offering free Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions for all staff members on Wednesday, 7 February, and Wednesday, 6 March, from 1 pm to 3 pm. Our trained student volunteers lead these sessions, covering essential life-saving skills.

Join us in learning how to respond rapidly to emergencies, and potentially saving lives. If your team or a student group is interested, contact the team (heartheroes@manchester.ac.uk) for more details. 

During the sessions, you will learn how to:

• Perform basic life support on an adult
• Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
• Put an adult in the recovery position
• Assist someone who is choking
