Support Re-write Cancer and secure your Purple Wave place for free

Purple Wave

A team of alumni, students and staff taking part in our University's Purple Wave have already raised more than £2,000 to support our fundraising appeal, Re-write Cancer. 

Re-write Cancer is our appeal to create a world-leading cancer research facility on the site of the old Paterson building. This incredible new centre will bring doctors, nurses and researchers together - so they can find solutions for cancer much more quickly.

Thanks to our amazing community of donors and fundraisers, the new building is taking shape every day. But we need your support to keep up momentum, and save countless lives around the world.

There's still lots of time to join our team of fundraisers, support Re-write Cancer, and take part in the Great Manchester Run on 22 May for free. You'll just need to raise a modest minimum fundraising target of £50 (10k) or £100 (half marathon) and we'll waive the cost of your entry. And remember, every pound that you raise will make a difference to people with cancer.
