About us

Student Employability (Careers Service) partners across the University to enable our students and graduates to better Explore, Prepare and Apply for their next steps. We aim to empower and inspire every student and graduate to confidently pursue a meaningful future, through a sector-leading, inclusive Careers Service aligned with academic learning, institutional ambition, global context and opportunity.

By taking a student-centred, inclusive approach, we act as a catalyst for our graduates’ career readiness and lifelong success, guiding them to effectively position their university experiences to fulfil their aspirations and meet the demands of our future workforce.

Our four key priorities, Embedding Employability, Experiential Learning, Inclusion First and International Student and Graduate Success, form the foundation of this strategic approach to enhancing the experiences of our students and graduates.

We collaborate with key stakeholders across The University of Manchester to ensure employability is at the heart of the student experience.
