Support for students
The Careers Service supports students for the duration of their studies plus 2 years after they complete their degree. Students and graduates can access a range of information, events and services to help them improve their skills while they study and take their next steps after University.
Our website covers student careers support needs and includes access to 1-1 appointments and drop-ins, events, job vacancies, online learning and more via our CareerConnect portal.
Students often need help with developing and identifying their skills and understanding appropriate job search strategies to help them find jobs and work experience. Students have access to a number of exclusive UoM schemes such as Summer Internships (SEI), Global Graduates, work experience bursaries, mentoring and more.
