The Careers Service supports students for the duration of their studies plus 2 years after they complete their degree. Students and graduates can access a range of information, events and services to help them improve their skills while they study and take their next steps after University.

Students and recent graduates may access information and advice in a number of different ways.
We are curreetnrly providing all appointments and drop in sessions via Zoom. Students may also access FAQs and ask questions via a live web chat service.
The Careers website is a good source of information and advice to help UK and international students start to identify skills, career options and get advice on applications and interviews
Events Online recruitment fairs, workshops and employer events are a great way for students to learn more about different careers and network with employers.
Manchester Gold Mentoring is a great opportunity for students to access the advice and support of someone who has experience, insights and hindsight. Many of our mentors are University of Manchester alumni and staff who wish to give something back, share the knowledge they have gained of opportunities after graduation and guide current students.
Become a mentor on our Manchester Gold programmes and provide students with information about current job hunting strategies, opportunities and recruitment practices that will help them in their career progression.
Students and graduates can access vacancies and events and book appointments via their careers account.
Staff whose job involves supporting students with their career choices may request a University of Manchester Staff account. This offer read only accress to vacancies and events.
