Did you know that the Faculty of Humanities has membership to the ASPECT platform?
Aspect (a platform for entrepreneurship, commercialisation and transformation) is a network of organisations united by a belief in the boundless creativity and vitality of research within the Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (SHAPE) disciplines. Its mission is to champion research innovation to deliver sustainable impact on the community.
Any UoM employee can sign up to the Aspect Members Platform, which also lists events, resources and key information relating to training and the ASPECT organisation.
There are several self-learning programmes available and you can view their Spring/Summer training brochure which offers a series of practical expert-led workshops designed to support academic and PS colleagues in developing the skills needed to translate SHAPE research into real-world impact. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics including partnership development, public sector engagement, creative technologies, and strategic approaches to commercialisation.
