Campus nurseries

There are two nurseries available for use by University staff:

• Holyrood Nurseries - Dryden Street (86 places close to Oxford Road campus)
• Echoes Nursery (67 places close to Sackville Street operated by Network Nurseries)

The nurseries provide care for children from six months to five years and are staffed with trained and experienced personnel in accordance with the local authority's requirements.

There may be waiting lists for the nurseries, especially for children under 2. Please try to apply as early as possible.

The nurseries are designated as a Workplace Nursery under HMRC guidelines qualifying you for significant salary sacrifice savings using our Workplace Nursery Scheme.  This means that you only pay tax and NI on the salary remaining after your full nursery fees have been deducted.
