Ordering from Stores
Overview
The University has a number of stores on campus. Stores offer ease of access to contracted goods alongside reassurance around health and safety compliance. There are stores available to staff to use (based on building access). These stores stock routine consumable items, mainly for use in laboratories and also bulk and frequently used paper and stationery products. Staff are encouraged to make use of the stores where practical as this permits bulk ordering and consolidated deliveries.
Ordering Process
It is envisaged that the non-science departments will only need to contact Sackville Street (for stationary and general office supplies).
Some stores provide a facility of decanting N2 (Liquid Nitrogen) to end users. They are responsible to ensure that adequate levels are maintained and that regular fills are monitored to reduce boil off and wastage. They also ensure that this process is performed by appropriate qualified staff and ALL health and safety are adhered to. Liquid Nitrogen is available at NGI, Chemistry and Physics. Please contact the store directly.
Staff have access to request products from the following store areas (see the FSE and BMH links to see which area stocks which goods). Please contact the stores directly via email stating the account code to be charged and the full delivery address.
