Study investigating hearing health and attitudes towards using hearing protection

We are looking for students to take part in a study investigating hearing abilities and attitudes towards using hearing protection. The study involves some standard assessments of hearing abilities and a number of questionnaires regarding hearing abilities, previous noise exposure, and opinions on hearing protection. The testing session lasts approximately 2 hours. Participants will also be invited back to repeat the testing session once a year (up until graduating). Participants will be compensated for their time.

 

In order to take part, participants must:

 

Be aged 18+

Not have a history of ear operations or neurological conditions (including head injuries) Have English as their first language
