Call for paddlers: North West Confucius Institute Dragon Boat Race

The Dragon Boat Race takes place on Saturday, 27 April in Liverpool

This year Manchester Confucius Institute will take part in the North West Confucius Institute Dragon Boat Race on Wednesday, 27 April bewtween 10am and 5pm at Liverpool Water Sports Centre, 110 Mariners Wharf Queens Dock, Liverpool L3 4DG. 

We are inviting anyone who is interested to join the Manchester team for the race. No experience is required, but you need to be able to swim in light clothing competently for 50 metres. Transport from Manchester to Liverpool and return will be provided, as well as lunch. 

If you would like to join the race team, please email confucius@manchester.ac.uk. Further information will be sent to those who are registered nearer the time. We hope to run a training day in Manchester before the event, date to be confirmed.
