Focus on feedback - How My Manchester is listening

IT Services ran the first My Manchester Pilot focus group on Friday 19 April and had some great feedback from pilot users on the overall look and feel of the site, as well as useful discussion about different users’ experiences to date.
Currently at mid-point in the My Manchester Pilot, the project team have already made some significant changes:
- A 'You said, we did' section has been created within the My Manchester Pilot Community site which shows the feedback received to date and what has been changed, as a direct result.
- The layout of the front page has changed to make it more user-friendly, including reducing the amount of text, standardising the size of the pictures used and giving users more control over what links appear on the home page.
- The focus group said that more needs to be done to improve the search functionality, as well as the use of favourites; so the team are going to be exploring those areas further.
Feeling inspired to join in?
The team are still recruiting more pilot users and are especially keen to encourage more academic and research colleagues to take part.
Registration for the pilot will close on Tuesday, 7 May, with the final focus group being held on Monday, 13 May.
