Change to police contact details

Staff should be aware that there has been a change in the campus contact details for police.

The University Police Liaison Office no longer exists. Staff and students should now call Longsight Police Station on 0161 856 4223.

Staff are asked to check any information they provide locally for students to ensure that any references about the university police liaison officer are removed.

The updated contact details for the police and University Security are given in the Crucial Guide Live on My Manchester.

There is also a GMP App available that allows students to find their nearest police station, see where the Safe Zones are (food outlets and other venues students can go to if they feel unsafe) and get the latest news and information.
