Free drop-in event for adult on Thursday, 7 March (6.30-9.30pm) at The Manchester Museum.

After Hours: World Music

An evening of live music inspired by South America.

  • 6.30-7pm: Bossa Nova/Fusion Music by Luciano Gerber (Brazil)
  • 7.15-7.45pm: Myths & Legends of South American Indians (with traditional music) by El Condor (El Salvador/Peru)
  • 8-8.30pm: Salsa Music by L@Tinto Bros (Venezuela/Peru)
  • 8.45-9.15pm: Grand Finale where all musicians will play together and will be joined by Paula Santos Soares (dancer-Brazil) and Samba drummers (UK)

After Hours are evening social events where you encounter the unexpected. Artists, scientists, filmmakers, writers and musicians animate our collections in special one-off performances.
