The University of Manchester Image-based Modelling Club

The second meeting of the Club will be held on Thursday 19 April (2pm - 4pm) in Room G13D, Sackville Street Building, North Campus.

The theme of the meeting is “The Software Tool Chain: Image Acquisition and Clean-up”. Dr Tristan Lowe (EPS) will give a talk on tools for 3D imaging using X-ray Tomography and Dr Tobias Starborg (FLS) will focus on the same topic applied to Electron Microscopy.

A new interactive session titled “So you think you have a challenging imaging problem?” has been added to the agenda to allow a selected researcher to pose an interesting problem to the audience. At this meeting, Roger Schurch will talk about the difficulty of imaging “Electrical Trees”.
