Sakhioba Folk Ensemble

Joining us all the way from Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, Sakhioba showcases some of the most talented of the newest generation of musicians in a thrilling programme of multipart songs in different regional styles.

Founded in 2006, the ensemble is directed by Malkhaz Erkvanidze, leading authority in the post-Soviet revival of ancient Georgian church chant and founder of the renowned Anchiskati Choir.
