Tours of the stores

Another opportunity for staff to go behind the scenes at The Manchester Museum and Whitworth Art Gallery on Wednesday 9 November (12.30pm).
The Manchester Museum and Whitworth Art Gallery have opened up their stores to University staff for behind the scenes tours. The tours will reveal some of the hidden treasures that the public don’t normally get to see, will take place monthly and last for 45 minutes. The next tour, on Wednesday 9 November, starts at 12.30pm at the Whitworth Art Gallery and will be led by Christine Woods, Curator of Wallpapers. Christine says “Love it or hate it but don't miss this opportunity to see old and new wallpapers and revisit your past!”
