Announcement of death.
The mediaeval archaeologist Dr David Hill died suddenly on Tuesday 19 July. A member of the Extra-Mural Studies Department and more recently the English Department, David was well-known within his discipline and did much to popularise archaeology.
The funeral will take place on Friday 29 July at 2 pm at Altrincham Crematorium.
