It’s hotting up! New summer health and fitness programme

Get in shape for the summer with our new health and fitness programme.  A variety of six to eight week courses for all abilities and levels of fitness are available to book online at:

Caribbean Fit Jam

Due to its overwhelming popularity during Wellbeing Week we have added a new course to the summer health and fitness programme! Register now for a six week course of Caribbean Fit Jam starting Wednesday 4May from 12noon-12:50pm in the Sackville Street building.

Caribbean Fit Jam is the ultimate workout using contemporary and traditional Caribbean dance combined with aerobics to burn fat and tone the body especially the quads and gluteus!

Come and join the party at Zumbathon 3

Be part of the third Zumbathon at the Armitage Sports Centre on Saturday 14May from 11am-1:00pm, and help raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. The two hour charity dance/fitness workout will have you moving and shaking to the rhythm and beats of a variety of dance styles including salsa, mambo, samba, hip hop, flamenco and rhumba plus many more!

Manchester World Cup invites teams to register

Register now and take part in our two day international  seven-a-side football tournament at The Armitage Sports Centre.  Open to men and women aged 17+, your team will choose a competing nation to represent in the tournament.

Matches will be played at the Armitage Sports Centre on Wednesday 4 May and Wednesday 11May between 4:00pm and 7:30pm. Please wear appropriate footwear for artificial turf (no studs).
