Improvements to Library’s Document Supply Service

Issue and return of loanable books and photocopies of journal articles moves to Blue Ground Service Point from 31 January

From Monday 31 January we will be improving our Document Supply service provision by moving the issue and return of loanable books and photocopies of journal articles obtained by Document Supply to the Blue Ground Service Point. A first line enquiry service will also operate from Blue Ground with a second line referral service operating at the Document Supply service point in Purple Ground. The Purple ground service point remains fully operational to deal with requests, referrals, complex enquiries, and reference material.

Core service hours are 9-5 for Blue Ground service point, and 9-4 for Document Supply. After core service hours, a first line service will continue to operate from the Customer Services desk on Blue Ground. This means that customers can now collect or return Document Supply items all the hours that Blue Ground is staffed.
