Christmas favourites, home-made soup, free mulled wine for skaters, and festive specials at Cafe at the Rylands
Christmas has arrived at an outlet near you
Throughout December, FoodOnCampus outlets will be selling a range of festive favourites from special coffee flavours, two- or three-course traditional festive lunches and, of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without mince pies!

Beat the cold snap with our fresh home-made soup
Melt that icy feeling and wrap your hands around a cup of delicious, fresh, homemade soup. There are absolutely no tins or cartons involved in our soup making as it is freshly prepared by our executive chef and his team in Fallowfield and delivered directly to the outlets.
This means we know exactly what is in your soup and can guarantee that it is 100% natural, low fat, low in salt and contains one of your five daily vegetable portions.

Get your skates on!
If you are going ice-skating at Spinningfields this Christmas, then why not warm up afterwards with a free glass of mulled wine at Cafe at the Rylands, located in John Rylands University Library on Deansgate, just a minute's walk from the rink! Offer starts on Wednesday 1 December and is available for University of Manchester staff only. You will need to present your ticket stub (adult tickets only) and your University staff ID card.

Christmas shopping in Manchester?
Just a reminder that all University of Manchester staff get 10% discount at Cafe at the Rylands, located in the John Rylands University Library on Deansgate. So if you are visiting the Christmas Markets or shopping on The Avenue (Spinningfield’s new retail quarter), then why not drop in for one of our festive specials. From Wednesday 1 December, we shall be serving a daily Christmas-inspired warm tart with a picked winter salad, festive coffee, mulled wine, cake, stollen and mince pies plus our regular menu!
