Nowgen’s Our Kid exhibition is on display next to the Visitor’s Centre in University Place until 25 March 2009.
Our Kid is an interactive multimedia sculpture in human form, celebrating 60 years of healthcare research in the North West.
The sculpture is embedded with digital screens packed with information, interviews with experts, original Public Service broadcasts and forward-looking films made by local young people. Together they tell the stories behind the changing face of healthcare, the vital contribution made by research and the breakthroughs that came out of Manchester.
Opening Times for University Place
- Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm
- Saturdays and Sundays CLOSED
Our Kid is organised by Nowgen – A Centre for Genetics in Healthcare, and supported by the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
