This week's events at the Martin Harris Centre.

05 Dec 2007

Ward off those winter blues with a dose of music and drama!

The Martin Harris Centre presents a week full of University talent - Thursday's free lunchtime concert offers the Music Department's Contemporary Ensemble in Association, Psappha, playing pieces by McPherson and Kurtág. Music and Drama students collaborate to present Bernstein's comic opera Candide on Friday, and on Wednesday Ad Solem, the University Chamber Choir, present a programme exploring themes of loss and redemption.

One of the last Literature Live events of the season features Geoff Dyer reading from his works, not to be missed!

Our very own Quatuor Danel perform the free lunchtime concert next week, followed on Friday by both the Muslim Young Women's drama groups performing In Place of War, and KAIROS: beneath the cold - a programme for cello and electroacoustic improvisation.

So take your pick and come along to the Martin Harris Centre for your dose of music and drama this week!
