Join our bicentenary sessions: exploring content, design, events and social

Join our bicentenary and social media teams at one of two sessions planned for colleagues across the University, demonstrating how to support our bicentenary celebrations through content, design and social media.

These sessions are primarily aimed at colleagues working in communications and marketing areas, but may also be of interest to anyone looking to plan and promote their own bicentenary-related content, activity and events. 

These online events take place on:  

  • Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 2pm - 2.45pm 
  • Thursday, 1 February 2024, 2pm - 2.45pm (to be recorded) 

What will the sessions involve? 

During these meetings you’ll discover more about our bicentenary identity guidelines and how to use these assets to create your own content.The social media team will talk about how to promote bicentenary events and themes effectively on professional/University social media accounts. 

There will also be awalk-through of the event submission process (getting your events listed as part of our programme of activity through 2024) and tips on producing and promoting bicentenary-related content.
