Manchester United Legends dinner

On 29 April 2022, Internship Coordinator Amy Parkinson was a passenger in a car that was involved in a very serious accident. Amy sustained life-changing injuries and was in the major trauma unit at the NHS Salford Royal Hospital for two months and had three operations, plus ongoing treatment and physiotherapy.

In recognition of the outstanding treatment she received, Amy is organising a United Legends Dinner to give back to Salford Royal Hospital and Helping Hands (a charity that donated a wheelchair when Amy was discharged from hospital)

The money raised is 100% not for profit, 90% going to Salford Royal Hospital (orthopedics department) and 10% to Helping Hands.

The event will be held on Friday, 15 September 2023 at Hotel Football, Old Trafford.

Included in the ticket price:

  • Q&A from three Manchester United Legends (Keith Gillispie - Class of 92, Sammy Mclloy - the last Busby Babe, and Ben Thornley - Class of 92 )
  • A beautiful three-course dinner, in the stunning Stadium Suite at Hotel Football (overlooking Old Trafford)
  • Live auction with some amazing prizes and raffle (first team shirt for United and City signed by all the players and manager, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricky Hatton, Anthony Crolla and other sporting memorabilia)
  • Live entertainment (Rowetta from the Happy Mondays and Ian Etto playing United songs)

This will be an unforgettable night to support our NHS workers, some of who have also been invited.
