Create a stir to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

Fancy raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support by enjoying a coffee break? If so, participate in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28 September.

The MLP, Careers & Employability Division held a coffee morning last year and raised £76, with staff bringing in cakes and coffees for other staff to enjoy whilst making a donation.

Every year 270,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Macmillan Cancer Support is there to support every one of those people and their friends and families too, but can only do this with your help.

So why not organise a coffee morning for your department in the knowledge that every cup will help improve the lives of people affected by cancer. If you're not a coffee drinker, why not substitute coffee for herbal tea or smoothies!
