Quiz and raffle raise £600 for Joe Geeling Trust
What a great response we had to this year's UMSA Quiz Night. (27 April 2007) - in aid of the Joe Geeling Trust - and with 35 teams entering we were in for an exciting night!
- In 3rd place were 'T.U. Follies' from the Trade Union office
- In 2nd place were 'Norfolk - en - Chance' from The Refectory Building
- And the winners were 'The Good, The Bad and Patrick' from the Student Services Centre - congratulations!!!
With proceeds from the raffle drawn on the night, we raised £600 for the Joe Geeling Trust fund, which was fantastic.
A huge "thank you" to the Girls of the Refectory, who kindly donated their £50 quiz winnings to the Trust and to everyone who bought raffle tickets and supported us on the night.
Thanks also to Linda Durkin, who was a great help (as usual) with organizing the event in the Barnes Wallis Suite.
