Two prestigious Grid and e-Science events at Manchester 7-11 May

The e-Science North West Centre, based at The University of Manchester would like to make the following announcement:

The University of Manchester is privileged to host two of the most prestigious Grid and e-Science events of the year:

20th Open Grid Forum (OGF20) and the 2nd EGEE User Forum
Manchester Central
Manchester, UK
7-11  May 2007

Both conferences will be held together in the same location in Manchester as a combined event. The objective is to bring users and standards bodies together to ensure that the future of the Grid is complemented by the establishment of key standards.

At OGF20, the global Grid community will gather to develop Grid standards, showcase real-world applications, discuss large-scale grid infrastructure techniques and applications, workshop Enterprise and eSciences best practices and present business case studies and solutions.

The EGEE project provides the world's largest production grid infrastructure for applications. The EGEE User forum will be of interest to scientists who use Grid technologies.
