Three-star status for Chancellors

25 Jan 2007

Hotel and conference centre wins VisitBritain accreditation

Chancellors Hotel & Conference Centre has been awarded three-star status by Visit Britain's Quality Assurance Scheme. The all-important stars serve as a clear guide of facilities for clients and this new three-star accreditation is expected to be a major boost to the hotel's business.

In addition to the three-star accreditation, Chancellors Hotel has a number of renovations in line, as the first development phase has just been approved. Catherine Murphy, sales manager, said: "We are really excited that Chancellors Hotel received the three-star status. This has required a collective effort involving all members of our team, as the accreditation covers every aspect of the business — and this makes the achievement even more special. We also feel it contributes significantly towards our goal of continuous improvement culture, so recognition in this way is very special to us."
