Help us find animals from 'Polar Bear, Polar Bear' by Eric Carle on the Animal Life 1, Live Animals and Animal Life 2 galleries. Make a polar bear picture in Play + Learn.

Polar Day Big Saturday

Saturday 26 January, 11am-4pm
Linked to the Tooth & Claw exhibition

Wrap up warm for a day of chilly activities and find out how people and other animals live in our polar regions. Make some Inuit sun-goggles and find out about the Museum's links with polar explorers, such as Scott of the Antarctic.

11am-4pm: Art and craft, object handling

1pm: Extreme conservation in the Antarctic

With Fiona Cahill, Conservator, formerly from the Antarctic Heritage Trust.
