IT Service Week runs from Monday, 2 to Friday, 6 October
This dedicated week marks a national celebration of IT Services, recognising excellent customer service which is provided daily to all customers, including staff and students. This initiative is sponsored by the Service Desk Institute (SDI) which is an international professional body for Service Desks. As part of IT Service Week, Service Desks all over the UK will be asking their customers to vote for them in the ‘Top Support Team’ competition.
IT Services is one of the University’s largest directorates with over 350 staff working to deliver technology based services for research, teaching and learning. It has been and continues to be a busy period in IT Services as many students are logging onto MyManchester or using Eduroam (our Wi-Fi network) for the very first time!
We would love it if you could nominate our IT Support Centre and recognise their hard work.
Please complete a quick nomination form (we promise it takes less than one minute) and if we win we will become Top Support Team as part of IT Service Week 2017. Everyone who nominates the University of Manchester’s IT Support Centre will be automatically be entered into a draw and have the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
Also, if you have received extra special service from anyone in the team you can include their name within your nomination; the person with the most votes will win ‘IT Service Desk Superstar 2017’.
