The UK will observe a minute’s silence on Tuesday 6 June 2017 at 11am in remembrance of those who lost their lives and all others affected by the attacks in London on Saturday night.

Staff who wish to observe the silence can do so in any way they wish. There are also spaces where colleagues can gather, including The Quad outside the John Owens Building, the space outside University Place, the grass at the rear of Alan Gilbert Commons, Granby Row and in the garden between the Pariser Building and Barnes Wallis Building.

The thoughts of everyone at our University are with all those affected by the devastating attack.

Following the latest attack, please remain vigilant and if you see anything suspicious report it to our Security team on 0161 306 9966.
