Do you need help preparing for Christmas?

12 Dec 2016

There's still time to get your gifts wrapped by colleagues and support a good cause

Christmas bauble

Suddenly it's mid-December: you've just realised that Christmas is around the corner and you've got a long 'to do' list. Luckily, there are colleagues here to help who will wrap your gifts for you! In exchange, we're asking for donations to the Emergency Student Hardship Fund.

Sometimes a change in family circumstances or the inability to cope with multiple part-time jobs can leave a bright student facing the possibility that they may not be able to complete their degree. The Emergency Student Hardship Fund makes grants to talented students to help them stay at Manchester and complete their studies when they find themselves facing financial hardship.

There's still time to book our little Christmas helpers to wrap your presents – wrapping paper is provided (unless you want to bring your own). Wrapping will be done at lunchtime, from Monday, 19 December to Thursday, 22 December in the Christie Building.
