Rutherford Swish tomorrow to add to £600 total so far
Updating your Autumn/Winter wardrobe or clearing out your Spring/Summer threads? Don’t throw them away – “swish” them for other pre-loved items!
Swishing is swapping clothes with others and the Rutherford Swish raises money for charity – more than £600 to date!
The next Rutherford Swish will raise money for Cornerstone Day Centre, which provides services to vulnerable and disadvantaged adults, and takes place tomorrow (Tuesday, 11 October, 12.30–1.30pm) in the Rutherford Room, Rutherford Building.
Admission £2 if you bring items, £3 if you do not.
Bring along any good quality items of clothing which you no longer wear or use, such as handbags, shoes, tops and dresses, pay a donation and help yourself to any items which colleagues have brought in which take your fancy! Any leftover items of clothing will be donated to Cornerstone, and will be put to good use.
