Network interruptions before 9am on Thursday

We're planning to perform essential network maintenance this Thursday
This work is taking place as part of a series of changes which are taking place on the University network to improve performance and resilience.
Subject to approval, the work will start at approximately 7:30am on Thursday 11 August and we expect it to take approximately thirty minutes. However, we are allowing a maintenance and testing period of up to 8:30am to ensure the change has gone ahead successfully.
While we are not expecting there to be a complete loss of network connectivity throughout this time, there may be short intermittent periods of connectivity loss while the work is taking place.
Completion of the work will be posted on the Service Notification System and the IT Services Twitter account.
