Bogle 2016 is upon us!

22 Feb 2016

Beat the mysterious 55-year-old Bogle for a charity of your choice or for partner charity the Booth Centre

Are you one of the brave? Can you beat the mysterious Bogle?

In 1961 a team of stranded UoM lecturers tamed the mythological Bogle monster as they made the gruelling 55 mile journey from Lancaster to Manchester on foot, having missed the last train.

Each year since then University students and staff, alongside members of the public, have taken on the challenge to beat the Bogle, walking 26 or 55 miles around Greater Manchester for charity.

Now in its 55th year, Bogle 2016 is taking place on Friday, 4 March and Saturday, 5 March.

Take a sponsored scenic stroll around our wonderful city for partner charity the Booth Centre, a local organisation working to support homeless people or for a charity of your choice.
