The University of Manchester's internationally renowned resident string quartet is celebrating its eleventh season at the University with an unmissable five-concert series of the 15 Shostakovich quartets. Taking place from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December, including two afternoon concerts, this is a fantastic opportunity to explore the composer's career and follow the changes from pre-war innocence to post-war politics and mature wisdom performed by an expert quartet.
