Manchester Universities String Society (MUSS) draws together some of the finest student string players from the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music to present innovative and exciting programmes from the string orchestra repertoire. MUSS’ programme for the December 11th lunchtime concert comprises two masterworks of the repertoire: J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.3 in G Major and, with ex-NYO principal cellist Oliver Farrant, Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major.
