Update 1: 10:10 on Friday 27 November

The issues with the Building Management system (including swipe cards) have now been resolved.

We are investigating issues with Wireless and Eduroam access which is affecting some areas in Oddfellows Hall, Arthur Lewis Building, Sackville Street Building, Graphene Building and the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons, and we hope to post a further update within the hour.

Original information: 9am on Friday 27 November

We identified an issue with the University network at 11.20pm on Thursday evening.

As soon as this issue was identified, our network team worked to deal with the issue, and the service was restored by 3.15am, although there may be some residual issues remaining.

If you're having issues with Eduroam, WiFi, shared drives or personal network storage (P:drives), this should be sorted by a reboot.

Estates are investigating the issue with swipe card access.

A full investigation into the cause of the problem is now under way, and we are continuing to monitor systems and services.

If you need any further help, please contact the IT Support Centre.
