Vaganza is the University of Manchester’s new music ensemble: a platform for performers and composers to showcase new works by undergraduate and postgraduate composers within the university alongside a wide and eclectic range of ‘classics’ by the leading composers of our times.
On Friday 28 November, Vaganza brings us a day of new music inspired by the theatre – both real and imagined – and its dramatic personae, featuring memorable and challenging works by the Music Department's student composers alongside Those Secret Eyes, new-generation composer Charlotte Bray's Macbeth-inspired piano trio.
