Can you speak on Public Health?

10 Nov 2015

A chance to present your research to public health professionals

The Centre for Epidemiology and WHOCC in the Institute of Population Health are looking for speakers for their ‘Building Capacity in Public Health’ events which are in collaboration with Public Health England.

On 14 January 2016, they are looking for people to speak for ten minutes on any research work into inequalities in alcohol, smoking, obesity and physical activity; and transport, built, social and natural environment and health and wellbeing. This event will be held in Lecture Theatre 6, Stopford Building.

On 10 March 2016, they are looking for ten minute presentations on early years, staying safe and schools ambassador programmes, inward investment, economics, work and health and wellbeing. This event will be held in Lecture Theatre B, Zochonis Building.

The audience will be public health professionals from across Greater Manchester. It’s to showcase our research and hopefully make more contacts with public health professionals from across Greater Manchester.
